The 80's Band revives 80’s music with verve and skill. They don't serve a faint decoction of what once was, where the music needs a defibrillator or the vocals urgently need an oxygen injection. The old songs get a lot of spicy peppers in their ass, which only benefits the quality. The audience in Blankenberge became wildly enthusiastic. A wheelchair user started a wild pogo as if he had just undergone a miracle in Lourdes. Young lads who had barely outgrown the nappies clung tightly to the nadars to go head banging. The chip shop and the drinks stand shook to their foundations. In short, it was an unforgettable experience that begs to be repeated.
